Recovering From A Hacking Attack – Getting the Right Assistance Helps

You face a risk every time you turn on your computer. Hackers are waiting for their next victim, and it could be you. It is unfortunate to learn that you may not be as safe as you think.

The Weapons Hackers Use

It takes time to break into a person’s private information. The most common shares are:

  • Malware
  • Spyware
  • Phishing

and other forms of computer viruses.

It is easy to be fooled. You might see something interesting on the Internet, or you may get an email warning that advises quick action by clicking a link embedded in the message. A Pandora’s box opens as you tap the link. You may make an honest mistake, but you will pay dearly for it. Hackers can now access your files and will exploit a dishonest opportunity

A Quick Response Is Needed

You can move rapidly if you know you have been hacked. Changing passwords and installing anti-virus software are easy remedies. Unfortunately, you might be too late. Hacking raids are sudden and vicious. It doesn’t take much time to clean out an account or set up a bogus credit card and max it out. The damage might happen while you’re asleep. Recovery is a long and drawn-out process.

Countrywide Pre-Paid Legal Services understands a victim’s frustration. We have offered Group Legal Plans to organizations for over 30 years, and our Group Legal Plan benefit helps people with personal emergencies. We also have an identity theft and credit monitoring program that an individual can have to enhance their cybersecurity.

Buyer’s Choice

Countrywide offers Identity Theft and Credit Monitoring Plans to fit the needs of an individual and the personal budget. We provide four options:

  1. Diamond
  2. Platinum Plus
  3. Premier Plus
  4. Silver Plus

Each plan has several services a person may use, depending on which option is selected. The benefits include 24/7 credit monitoring and alerts. At least one major credit bureau is available to let a plan member know the status of his or her credit. All four include two essential services.

  • ID Theft Insurance of $1 million is available in each option. This is critical because restoring a person’s stolen credit is going to take time and money. The policy allows for reimbursement of lost wages of up to $1500 a week for five weeks. There is also money in the policy for legal fees, expenses, and stolen funds reimbursement. The cost of recovering from hacking is not as bad as it would be without the policy.
  • There is also ID Theft Fraud Restoration Services in all the options. Anyone who is the victim of a hacking needs professional help in restoring fiscal sanity. A US-based fraud restoration specialist is assigned to help a person through the entire process. As with the Countrywide Pre-Paid Legal Services benefit, this specialist has a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy. A plan member can expect to be treated with the level of courtesy and respect given to those enrolled in a Countrywide Group Legal Plan.

We do not assign a benefit plan to you. You decide which of our options best suits your needs. Just as with our Group Legal Plan, our objective is to provide you with the very best service possible. You can anticipate that we respond immediately to any call for help. It is the Countrywide way of helping any of our plan members. The road to restoring accounts damaged by hackers is not easy, but we will do everything we can to make the journey less stressful.

Countrywide Pre-Paid Legal Services offers these plans to both individuals and groups. These are in addition to our Group Legal Plan benefits, which offer necessary pre-paid legal services to people. We encourage you and your employer to contact us about any of the services we provide. We welcome the opportunity to explain our benefits.
